When babies cry, even the most attentive parents often struggle to figure out why. But a new iPhone application claims to help new moms and dads decipher the wails and howls of their newborn children.
Launched this week by Barcelona-based Biloop Technologic, S.L., the Cry Translator uses sound analysis technology to identify one of five emotional states — hunger, fatigue, annoyance, stress or boredom.

Though plenty of people — analyst Michael Pachter chief among them — are pretty certain that an HD version of the Wii is in the pipeline, you’re not going to catch Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Amie copping to it. At first glance, Bodum’s flatbed toaster is a neat idea, allowing you to toast strangely-shaped items without it having to fit inside a small appliance. But then you get to thinking: wait, this seems like an idiotic idea.

Samsung currently has four Android phones (Galaxy i7500, Spica i5700, Moment and Behold II), and it looks like the fifth one is coming soon under the name of Samsung i6500 Saturn.
